With Head Coach Kyle Isaacs at the helm for his 17th season, the team is more focused than ever. Last year’s mantra, “embrace the process,” laid the foundation, but this season, it’s all about dominating the details.
“We really bought into the process last year,” Isaacs explained. “Now, it’s about perfecting every aspect of our game. Having six players who understand exactly what’s expected makes this goal much more achievable.” But here’s where it gets controversial: can precision truly replace passion on the court?
Isaacs emphasizes maintaining the team’s identity—toughness, relentless defense, and physicality—while addressing a critical weakness from last season. “Our focus is on staying true to who we are,” he said. “But we knew we had to improve our outside shooting, and I believe we’ve made significant strides in that area.” And this is the part most people miss: balancing strength with finesse could be the key to their success.
