Tucker is a four-time All-Star with two Silver Slugger awards and a Gold Glove. Baseball Reference projects 23 home runs and 19 stolen bases for him next season.
If Tucker is willing to sign a one-year deal to prove himself, Boston could be a strong contender. The Sox brought in his teammate on similar terms last season.
But here's where it gets controversial... Adding another outfielder would likely mean parting ways with Jarren Duran or Kristian Campbell. It might also involve moving on from Masataka Yoshida and using the DH spot. While Tucker's arm is strong, his range isn't fully developed, so trading away Boston's top defenders wouldn't optimize the outfield.
